MK Together – Safer, Happier, Healthier
In Milton Keynes in 2017 innovative partnership arrangements for safeguarding adults and children, enabling community safety and promoting health and wellbeing, were developed.
Together, MK agencies are committed to being at the forefront of improvement, integration and partnership working.
The good work that has already been completed was highlighted in the joint local area SEND inspection carried out in October 2018 and in the 2019 peer inspection of the Council’s Adult Services.
The original MK Partnership arrangements have been revised, in light of the continuing Covid 19 pandemic.
The MK Together Management Board approved the 2021 MK Partnership Handbook at the February 2021 meeting. The document outlines the local approach, which will encourage the continued engagement of partners, and ensure a focus on safeguarding assurance.
Keeping Children and Vulnerable Adults Safe is Everybody’s Business.
The resources page below allows for quick and easy access to the local Levels of Needs document, screening tools (Child Exploitation, Neglect, FGM), as well as various strategy documents.
The MK Together website is currently under development. Please contact the MK Together team if you have any queries.
